David Frank Lisnock, Jr., 50, of Mount Carmel, passed away Friday evening, February 20, 2026, at his residence following a brief illness.
Born in Hazleton, December 16, 1975, he was the son of David Frank Lisnock and wife Lisa, Chandler, AZ and Debbie Lisnock, Drums and spent the past two and a half years in Mount Carmel, after moving from Pottsville.
David was a 1993 graduate of Hazleton High School and attended Luzerne County Community College. He was employed as a Department Manager for Johns Manville, Valmont. David was a member of the Catholic Faith. In his free time, he enjoyed taking his children trout fishing, rooting for Duke basketball and football, collecting baseball cards, and fireworks of all kinds.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three children, Randy Lisnock and wife Esperanza, Tamaqua; Abigayil Lisnock and her fiancée John Card, Weatherly; and Tristen Lisnock, CO; two grandchildren, Trevor Card and Isabella Lisnock; two brothers Angelo Cortese and wife Rachel, Alto; and Alex Cortese, Drums, an uncle, David Remenar and wife Louise, Benton; and his devoted Great Dane, Shelby.
His funeral will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, assisted the family with the arrangements.
